President of the United States, master diplomat, naval officer, and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. Jimmy Carter was also a man who lived in the same Plains, Georgia ranch home he had bought as a young man, who taught Sunday School at his local church, and who devoted his time to building homes for the homeless. He was a man of the people. There was, and probably never will be, anyone like him again.
