Kickass and Polar Plunge

Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper and Phyllis did not participate in the Winter solstice activities on the banks of Black Earth Creek in Mazomanie and therefore missed the opportunity to dive into the creek following the great bonfire.  Many of the keeper’s family members, however, did take the polar plunge, and even assisted their young ones in doing the frigid dunk.

Having long ago lost whatever remnant of authority he imagined that he once had, the keeper resists the awful temptation to express traditional senior caution and instead says GO FOR IT!

Do this inane thing with gusto to welcome the winter and assure the world that if there are any practical attributes in the clan makeup they were not inhibited by the keeper, nor as Phyllis would agree, were they handed down by him.
