Kickass, the doorstop dog, joins the keeper and the multitudes in wishing Dick Van Dyke a happy 99th birthday as he dances in a new musical release–“All My Love” and says that his advice for a long life is to “keep moving.”
The keeper and Phyllis enjoyed the recent Willie Nelson PBS special with Willie at 91 “On The Road Again” and they look forward to Clint Eastwood’s recent movie–“The Man Who Invented America” that he produced when he was 93.
There are others, some with less celebrity, like Mazomanie’s John Wick who rides a bicycle daily at 96 and there are the keeper and Phyllis’s Vista West friends, many in their mid to late 90’s who ignore the big number and lead interesting, stimulating lives.
People in their 90’s are called “Nonagenarians” and it is a label proudly worn by the keeper as he tells the much younger Phyllis she will get there if she “keeps moving” with her efforts to keep the keeper out of tech trouble and frequently warmed with home-made soup.
It is an “All My Love” nonagenarian situation.
