Kickass, the doorstop dog, passes along the keeper’s account of a return visit to the house that he and his family built on the Mazomanie hill, and where grandson Andy and wife Ari and their three kids have now wisely furnished the living room with gymnastic equipment and pads so it is possible to do cartwheels and balance-bar exercises in front of the fireplace.
The keeper was dissuaded by Phyllis from trying a simple somersault while a collection of great grandkids vigorously demonstrated the wisdom of gymnastic living room décor.
It is very gratifying for the keeper to see “his” house occupied and used in an off-the-wall manner befitting its design and construction, and to hear of Ari’s plans for a live vine to climb up the 40-foot atrium pine tree.
