Kickass, the doorstop dog, joins the keeper and Phyllis as they anticipate the weather forecast for the season’s first snow which has been predicted to be “sporadic, temporarily covering the colorful fall landscape and then melting into a slushy mess as an unpleasant harbinger of long cold days to come.”
The meteorologist crowd has gone political on us as its forecast accurately describes the post-election circumstances.
The keeper passes along the reminder that the miseries of winter are always followed by a welcoming spring complete with flowers and cheerfully chirping birds.
At least that has been the case heretofore, seasonally and politically. If that changes there are problems that transcend “slush.”
With that possibility in mind, the keeper and Phyllis will refrain from taking part in snowball fights and the will not be making any “snow angels,” politically speaking.
