Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that as the keeper and Phyllis do their best to heed advice to associate with those who might hold contrary political views, all in the interest of reducing divisiveness, they experience times when such activity becomes more of a challenge than they can handle. Mingling with those who find it necessary to be heavily armed with military, people-killing weapons with their fingers on the triggers as they order Big-Macs sorely tests the keeper and Phyllis’s inclination to smile and make small talk.
