Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper, pitifully unable to turn in all of his “PRESS” credentials, will be working the top story of the day, that being that one of the Oscar Meyer wienermobiles tipped over on its side Monday on Interstate 294 near Oakbrook, blocking the right lane, and resulting in no human injuries but requiring that the wienermobile be hauled off to a body shop.
“Oh I wish I were an Oscar Meyer wienermobile!
“That is what I really want to be.
“For if I were an Oscar Meyer wienermobile
“Everyone would be in love with me!”
If you are too disgustingly young to remember the old jingle, ask your grandma to sing it for you using the keeper’s slightly edited version.
In other news, the keeper/reporter and Phyllis agree that the news is pretty much the same as it was yesterday and not nearly as interesting as a wienermobile tipped over on its side in the middle of a busy highway.
