Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper and Phyllis love nurses but cautions that there may be some risk in having dinner with them as the current national conversation so easily spins off JFK Jr.’s brain worm disclosure.
So it was with Margaret and Linda, retired veteran nurses, at a Vista West table on a recent evening over a dinner of “open faced roast beef” when the subject of brain worms quickly became one of “body parasites” in expansive variation and organ locations.
While the keeper is always appreciative of expertise along with his dinner, next time he plans to suggest to friendly nurses Margaret and Linda that maybe they could talk about something else, like former old patients who got out of bed and danced.
That would go better than “tapeworms” with a “Peanut butter pie” desert.
