Kickass and Shooting Dogs

Kickass, the doorstop dog, with something of a “dog’s” personal interest, joins the keeper in observing that when the national subject of debate focuses on when or if a human should shoot a dog, and having done so should the dog-shooter be lauded or disdained, an opportunity to look at the expansiveness of creature killing in everyday life is offered: think hamburgers, chicken tenders and leg-of-lamb to start.

Oh, never mind!

The keeper has no qualifications to deal with such a seemingly contradictory human behavioral situation and he is sorry he brought it up.

He will be having his bacon and eggs breakfast now, complacent for never having intimately shared his living quarters with a pig and smug about the fact that in order to eat eggs it is not necessary to kill a chicken.
