Kickass, the doorstop dog, assists the keeper in the following:
Young man running.
Across parking lot ice.
Running to school
On a morning so nice.
Running to meet
Another day of his life
Maybe see that girl–
A prospective wife.
You never know,
About such a thing:
Do we have love,
Or just a fling?
Life is a slippery lot,
Oh, running young man:
Give it all you’ve got,
For as long as you can.
Don’t be late for life’s class,
And expect to often fall on your ass.
