Kickass, the doorstop dog, joins the keeper and Phyllis as they make the following observations on Monday morning Oct.16, 2023:
*The sun came up at 7:13 in Madison, WI, though nobody saw it for the clouds.
*The yellow-coated crossing guard at Gammon and Tree La took up his position as students walked through the intersection to the nearby schools.
*Streets showed a steady stream of vehicles as thousands of people made their way to work destinations.
*Trees displayed signs of giving up the green for their brief but spectacular show before their great seasonal sleep.
*Another week begins with all its complications and challenges and opportunities.
*The keeper and Phyllis are among those fortunate enough to be on hand to celebrate the monumental event of Oct. 16, 2023.
*It will be a great day.Â
