Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper is only stand-by assistance in Phyllis’s Vista West gardening efforts, but obviously should have been more than that as Phyllis apparently pulled a muscle lifting a heavy bucket in watering her tomatoes.
This is an “I-can-do-it-myself” woman only several weeks out from a heart attack and in the beginning phase of a rehab program who will henceforth be advised by the keeper from a nearby lawn chair, “Use the watering hose, Babe. That bucket is too heavy for you!”
The keeper loves tomatoes, and Phyllis, of course, and giving advice, especially in his own best interests.
