Kickass, the doorstop dog, passes along the following note from the keeper and Phyllis’s visit to the spectacular flower displays now in explosive blooming at the UW West Madison Agricultural Research Station next to the cemetery just off Mineral Point Road.
Oh what to do about flowers?
See them? Sniff them? Take a photo?
All too tame for this day and age!
What needs to be done is to get a gun
And shoot the flowers just for fun.
Blast those blossoms and those buds,
Be somebody, not one of the duds.
Shooting flowers will make you a man,
Get a gun as fast as you can.
Make it one with lots of rounds
For all the flowers on these grounds.
Guns are the answer for a flower kill,
Shoot a petunia and know the thrill!
