Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that indications are the keeper will survive the common cold that he has been suffering from, and he would therefore like to retract the instructions he gave Phyllis to have his body bronzed and placed on a pedestal near the entrance to the zoo with the message that the species he represents extirpated itself through sheer stupidity and the overconsumption of cheese curds.
Revised instructions are pending as the keeper medicates and recovers with the last of Phyllis’s rum-saturated fruitcake and a new batch of her matchless chicken soup.
