Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports on a belated clan Christmas gathering focused around Mike’s chili and Phyllis fruitcake during which the Clan dog Boo made an authoritative territorial statement and a bevy of young cousins shook Vista West out of its vintage-age slumber with youthful shouts and laughter.
It occurred to the keeper that recording such joyous sound to be played later on days that threaten loneliness might be a good idea, the memory bank being the contrary thing that it is.
A soundtrack of the raucous play of children would seem to have commercial potential, particularly if it was of your own grandchildren or great grandchildren.
In reacting to yet another great business idea from the keeper, Phyllis went no farther than an indulgent smile.
