Kickass, the doorstop dog, agrees with the keeper that living with a star–Phyllis, has its exciting moments, as when channel 3 showed up at the Vista West art show, and Phyllis was among the many talented people who had a few on-camera moments.
The variety and depth of those exhibiting–from Phyllis’s photo art, to Ellie’s elaborate hooked rugs to Michael’s bird photography to Mary’s jewelry and more, it was all an astounding demonstration that the keeper is surrounded by talented people creating beautiful things.
And there was tasty food available, which allowed the keeper to join in the exhibition when a meatball slipped off his fork and rolled down the front of his shirt and pants, leaving an artistic pattern of grease stains.
Phyllis made the ten o’clock news; the keeper didn’t.
