Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper arose in time to observe a colorful sunrise over the distant state Capital Friday, Aug. 12, 2022; and as the sky went from black to red to pink to yellow to white to blue, the over-riding message was: “Hey, this is going to be a day! Not just another day, but a damn special day simply because it is here and so are you!”
