Kickass, the Doorstop dog, reports the Keeper and Phyllis were greeted to Jasper, BC by a junior sized grizzly bear as they left the railroad cars and boarded a tour bus to continue their glacier mountain quest.
Jasper is surrounded by the snow covered Canadian Rockies and gives the Keeper the feeling of being in a great bowl of mother nature’s cake mix waiting to be baked into a great cake. One to perhaps commemorate long life and love as the Keeper and Phyllis are fortunate to represent now in sunny Jasper.
There was a subsequent bus tour from Jasper to enjoy a boat ride on Maline lake only to find the lake still ice covered.
Such is life, where grizzlies help with collecting the garbage and elk assist with lawn mowing. It all seems to be part of baking the great and grand natural cake, with the Keeper and Phyllis part of the frosting.
