Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper is once again lamenting the close association of his name with the villain of the day as in “Putin Stokes Russian Memories,” which was a recent NYT headline on a story about Putin spreading propaganda lies to cause his people to remember how he once walked on water.

In a previous situation there were similar excessive reports involving the oafish former POTUS: “Trump Stokes” everything from tax breaks for the rich to the wonders of gold-plated toilets in homeless shelters.

There apparently is little the keeper can do to disassociate himself from the narcissistic idiots of the world, short of changing his name from Stokes to something scatologic like “Bulls—s,” which might be fitting for him at times, but would probably be a problem for the IRS and Amazon delivery people.

But if it generated use in headlines regarding either Trump or Putin, as in “Putin Bulls—s Norway and the world,” the name change might be worth consideration.

The keeper is thinking about it on this Sunday as Putin’s religious leader—Patriarch Kirill takes up the “Bulls—s” to identify the Ukraine slaughter as the “struggle against sin, and due to pressure from liberal foreigners.”
