Kickass, the doorstop dog, was assisting the keeper in storing the extra hour that results from the current Daylight Saving Time scheme when it was discovered that the storage space for his previous “extra” DST hours was at capacity, indicating a terrible inclination to waste time and to procrastinate beyond belief.
The absurdity of the keeper storing an hour for later use, at his vintage age, dawned on him along with the realization that he has been out of high school a lot longer than he seems to think—a lot longer!
Time has had its way with the keeper and his crowd, and there is no way to pretend otherwise.
Store an hour?
No!
Not even a damn minute!
Use the bonus hour to waltz Phyllis around the kitchen and then make her a big pancake breakfast: PFT (Phyllis Fun Time). It makes so much more sense than DST with its silly hour of storage.
