Kickass, the doorstop dog, reports that the keeper remembers about a hundred years ago when he was the Lone Ranger riding an ornery little pony named Silver to bring in the small herd of family milk cows while singing cowboy songs, one of which was “Deep In The Heart of Texas,” a big hit for Gene Autry. While he can recall some of the lyrics, the keeper has decided to contribute some new ones in the interests of relevance:
“Cows are respected
Women are rejected.
Deep in the heart of Texas
“Men have fun
With penis and gun.
Deep in the heart of Texas
“Women get used
And help is refused.
Deep in the heart of Texas.
“Make steers of the men,
Is the women’s yen.
Deep in the heart of Texas.
“There’s no help from the Court
Which had a brain abort.
Deep In the heart of Texas.
“There’s no limit to dumb
When the governor’s a bum.
Deep in the heart of Texas
